At the top of the piston, the 125NIR valve has a scraper which allows installation of a fiberoptic probe.

This probe, ideally located, permit to monitor several parameters such as temperature, humidity… and / or composition of the product before taking physically the sample, transmitted by fiberoptic to the connector.

A second hole, on the scraper, is made nearby the fiberoptic probe for the cleaning system (Nitrogen) as shown on the picture.

The measuring probe (not shown on picture) can be cleaned through a nozzle with Nitrogen.
